Yes. Less than container load (LCL) shipping places your cargo in a shared container with other importers, and you pay for the space your cargo occupies, measured in cubic meters. LCL is the normal choice for first orders and smaller restocks. XGT consolidates LCL cargo in China and clears it at the Egyptian port as one shipment.
Sokhna Port on the Red Sea is usually the natural arrival port for cargo from China because vessels reach it without transiting the Suez Canal, and it serves Cairo and Upper Egypt well. Alexandria, Damietta, and Port Said on the Mediterranean can suit consignees in the Delta and the north coast. A standard sea import into Egypt requires a commercial invoice, a packing list, an original bill of lading, and a certificate of origin.
